The Lift Show 2012 is cancelled
Organisers of The Lift Show 2012 have recently announced that they have been forced to cancel the event due to the fact that there was not enough support.
The Lift Show, which was being organised by Bob Hudson, who had in previous years organised the Liftex Exhibition on behalf of the Lift and Escalator Association (LEIA), was set to compete head to head with Liftex 2013.
The Lift Show intended to stage a Lift Exhibition here in the UK every two years; wheras LEIA felt that a show every three years was more than adequate; the decision to cancel is a clear indication that a substantial element of the UK market support the LEIA viewpoint.
