Stannah Lift Services Ltd is the UK's largest independent lift manufacturer, installer and maintenance company with a comprehensive network nationwide of service branches. These are supported by several manufacturing units where individual bespoke replacement parts can be made for any make of lift as required. Stannah provide a full range of repair and maintenance services, along with refurbishment and modernisation for all makes of lifts. Their genuine 24-hour, 365 day per year emergency call out service means that a lift engineer is always available at short notice. Full members of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association, (LEIA) Stannah's history of 150 years plus in the industry means that this family business really does know the world of lifts. Stannah engineers carry out thorough examinations under the Provision of Use of Work Equipment Regulations, 1998 (PUWER) and the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations, 1988 (LOLER) which form a key part of the legislation relating to the safe use of passenger lifts.

Competent Stannah engineers conduct all the necessary checks, tests and risk assessments at regular intervals prior to carrying out any modernisation or maintenance work.
